The new Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic adds to the collection of the same name, combining the white ceramic of the case and bracelet with a skeleton movement.
The summer season of Zenith is characterised by the launch of the first Defy Skyline in white ceramic, combined with a skeleton dial. The latter reveals different shades of blue depending on the light and takes the form of the famous four-pointed star brand logo, in the original 1969 motif, recurring in the Defy line.
Below it is possible to glimpse the high-frequency skeletonised automatic calibre El Primero 3620 SK (36,000 vibrations per hour, escapement wheel and silicon anchor), with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and also visible from the back side. This calibre is equipped with a stop-seconds mechanism allowing precise setting of the time and a 1/10th of a second indicator (which makes one complete rotation in 10 seconds), located in place of the traditional small seconds hand, at 6 o'clock. The hands and indexes are facetted and sprinkled with SuperLuminova, the customised crown is screwed down, and both the glass protecting the dial and the one on the back are sapphire.
Defy Skyline Skeleton White Ceramic: the first in white ceramic
