Zenith: the Defy Skyline becomes a Tourbillon

Zenith employs a new El Primero calibre with a Tourbillon device in the Defy Skyline, and offers the watch in two versions, in steel or black ceramic.

Zenith Defy Skyline TourbillonPresented two years ago, the Defy Skyline collection by Zenith immediately attracted the attention of watch enthusiasts, thanks to its clean and recognisable design and the adoption of an integrated bracelet. Recently, the Le Locle-based house has expanded this successful collection with the launch of two models animated by a new high-frequency El Primero calibre (36,000 vibrations per hour) with tourbillon device.

The gauge adopted is therefore theEl Primero 3630, which guarantees a 60-hour power reserve and uses a star-shaped rotor. The cage of the tourbillon device (which completes one revolution in 60 seconds and is composed of 56 elements), visible at 6 o'clock on the dial side, is attached to a mirror-polished bridge and takes the form of a four-pointed star. The same star motif is found on the dial with a soleil effect, with a radial development radiating out from the tourbillon cage.
