After the version with a 43 mm steel case, Wyler Vetta is now launching the Jumbostar with a 40 mm diameter case. The Jumbostar collection was launched last year to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the birth of the brand's founder, Paul Wyler.
The watch, fitted with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, is powered by the Landeron 72 automatic calibre (32 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 45-hour power reserve). Two options are available for attaching it to the wrist, namely a leather strap (black or cream-coloured) or a rice-grain steel bracelet. The black dial with contrasting counters has hands and indices with luminescent treatment. Water resistance is guaranteed up to 10 atmospheres of pressure.
"The Jumbostar collection is enjoying great success in terms of sell-in, sell-out and in terms of visibility in the press. The public of connoisseurs has greatly appreciated the revival of the lines of the 1968 model in a contemporary key. The proposal of the 43 mm chronograph represents the contemporary translation of the product inspired by the historical piece, the Jumbostar in the 40 mm version offers a more adherent approach to the historical version much loved by enthusiasts," said Marcello Binda, CEO of Wyler Vetta.
