The fourth edition of W.O.I. - Watches Of Italy, the first national exhibition dedicated to Italian watchmaking production, will be held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023, with free admission (opening hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), at the Museo delle Macchine Agricole 'Orsi' in Tortona (AL), Via Emilia 446. Already sold out like last year, between consolidated and emerging realities, it is confirmation that Italian watchmaking is more alive than ever.
Last year's "W.O.I. - Watches of Italy", with the Municipality of Tortona as Patron, was attended by over 4,000 visitors, who were able to see and touch many new products, get to know the manufacturers directly, as well as being able to purchase watches and accessories on site. Watches Of Italy, in addition to allowing each exhibitor to present its products with all their special features, is also an ideal setting for launching world premieres. And also this year, visitors will be able to see several new products live for the first time.
In addition, a round table entitled 'The Watchmaking Profession in Italy' will be held on Sunday 15 October (from 15:00 to 16:30), during which Andrea Coppola (watchmaker repairer and creator of unique pieces), Gabriele Ribolini (independent master, designer, builder and restorer), Irene Baiardi (watchmaker), Maurilio Savoldelli (Mazzucchi Laboratory, President of the watchmaking section of the Lombard Goldsmiths' Association) and Stanislao Capoferri (ATOSI President) will be speakers. The moderator will be the Honourable Marco Beltrandi, populariser, collector and watchmaking scholar. During the talk, Fabrizio Dellachà, the organiser and creator of Watches Of Italy, will announce the birth of the National Association "Filiera Orologiera Italiana", a parallel project to W.O.I.
