Venezianico combines the art of bronze work with the neoclassical inspiration of the Redentore model.
The new Bronze Redeemer of Venezianico represents a fusion of the ancient Venetian tradition of bronze work and contemporary design. This dress watch with a 40 mm bronze case celebrates the heritage of the lagoon city through skilful craftsmanship, making each piece unique.
The Redentore Bronzo is characterised above all by its case made of QAI9-4 bronze with an overall thickness of 10 mm, which ensures optimal ergonomics. The handcrafted brass dial has undergone an antiqued finishing process that gives the watch a distinctive character. On the latter, only the facetted Dauphine hour minute hands and the company logo at 12 o'clock appear.
The dial itself (protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal) goes through several stages of manufacture. It is first polished to achieve a sophisticated shine, then satin-finished to soften reflections and finally burnished to give the watch a vintage allure inspired by vintage metal surfaces.
In addition, the bronze used for the case will evolve over time creating a patina, with colour variations and a distinctive 'lived-in' effect. The clock is moved by the Miyota calibre 9039 (28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve), mechanical self-winding movement.
Venetian Redentore Bronze: Homage to Venice
The Redentore Bronzo draws inspiration from the neoclassical architecture of the Basilica del Redentore and the metallurgical history of Venice.
The choice of bronze for the case is obviously not accidental: is in fact a tribute to the ancient Venetian workshops and their centuries-old tradition of metalworking.
The back, secured with six screws, is made of steel and features an engraving inspired by the Cavalli di San Marco. Water resistance is guaranteed up to the pressure of 5 atmospheres (50 metres). The dark brown strap is made of brushed Made in Italy leather.
