Valbray dedicates its new chronograph to the 100th anniversary of the German company Leica, an international camera manufacturer. The name of the watch is EL1 - Chrono (EL as in Ernst Leitz, the name of the designer of the Leica I, the first version of the famous camera easily recognisable by its characteristic infinity lens lock). In a limited edition of 100 pieces - 50 for the model with a sandblasted titanium case and 50 for the one with DLC treatment - it is equipped with Valbray's Oculus system, a diaphragm that conceals and reveals the dial through the rotation of the bezel. The style is reminiscent of Leica cameras, especially the singular date display at 3 o'clock, reminiscent of an exposure meter, and the continuous seconds at 9 o'clock, reproducing the design of the camera's pusher; finally, the metallic 4.5 index, applied between 4 and 5 o'clock, recalls the opening of the first Leica. The movement is mechanical with automatic winding.
