Vacheron Constantin: Overseas in a casual-chic version

A striking colour combination for the ultra-flat Overseas Perpetual Calendar from Vacheron Constantin, which combines the pink gold of the case and bracelet with the lacquered blue of the dial. On the latter, decorated with sunburst, circular and blued satin-finish, gold is also used for the hourmarkers, hands and moon discs; while blue, in addition to the dial, are two of the three interchangeable straps with which the watch is delivered - one in alligator leather and the other in rubber (the third is the gold bracelet). The driving force behind this creation is the IWC-manufactured calibre 1120 QP/1, a 4.05 millimetre-thick self-winding mechanical movement containing 276 components: it beats at a frequency of 19.800 vibrations per hour, ensuring a power reserve of around 40 hours and offering indications of the hours, minutes, perpetual calendar, with the day of the week, date, month and leap year on the 48-month counter, to which is added the moon-phase display (the latter function involves extraordinary miniaturisation to compensate for calendar irregularities, eliminating the need for any corrections up to 2100).
