The Overseas collection is enriched with a new prestigious model, the Ultra-Flat Skeleton Perpetual Calendar, which combines a precious metal case and bracelet with the extreme refinement of a skeleton, ultra-flat movement equipped with a perpetual calendar. In this new version in pink gold, Vacheron Constantin highlights the values of Haute Horlogerie. While retaining its dynamic design, the aesthetics of the timepiece are revolutionised by a sapphire crystal dial that invites the observer to embark on a journey to the heart of the skeleton movement, just 4.05 mm thick. The self-winding calibre 1120 QPSQ (awarded the Geneva Hallmark), highly appreciated by collectors for its reliability, absolute precision and performance, thus joins the Overseas collection in a new guise. Entirely skeletonised, which in itself represents a considerable technical challenge, this calibre reveals its mechanical complexity through the sapphire crystal. The transparent back also displays a fascinating spectacle of Haute Horlogerie, whose undisputed protagonists are the gears and oscillating weight with NAC treatment and 22-carat gold insert. The skeletonisation of the latter, highlighting its stylised Maltese cross shape, is a first in the Overseas collection. All the components of the calibre 1120 QPSQ have been hollowed, finished and decorated in order to highlight the beauty of the mechanism. Like all the models in the Overseas collection, this variant can be customised thanks to a simple and effective system of interchangeable straps. In fact, in addition to the gold bracelet whose satin-finished half Maltese cross links emphasise the elegance of the timepiece, this creation comes with two additional straps, one in blue alligator leather and one in blue rubber.
