Vacheron Constantin - Historiques American 1921

Historiques American 1921

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the launch of the American 1921 collection, Vacheron Constantin at Watches & Wonders 2021 offered an updated and revisited version of it, which retains the iconic dial rotated by 45°. The latter, which is silver-coloured with a grené finish, houses white gold hands, painted Arabic numeral hour markers, a blued small seconds counter and the House logo (the Maltese Cross) in applied white gold. Pictured is the version with a 40 x 40 mm polished white gold case, paired with a dark brown calfskin strap made by Serapian, with a half Maltese Cross buckle in polished white gold. The movement used is the calibre 4400 AS (28.6 mm diameter, 2.8 mm thick, 126 components, 21 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 65-hour power reserve), a hand-wound mechanical movement.

Price: 37,000 euro.
