Yiqing Yin, the enfant prodige of Haute Couture, is the new face of Vacheron Constantin's "One of not many" communication campaign featuring talents whose personalities and work express the House's spirit of innovation and creativity. Chosen to represent the Égérie women's collection launched in February, Yiqing Yin was born in Beijing in 1985; she then moved first to Australia, then to France where, in Paris, she graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. Thanks to Yiqing Yin and her passion for the fluid, soft lines of garments and their draping, the world of haute couture is intertwined with the universe of haute horlogerie: the Égérie collection symbolises this encounter through its pleated dial and off-centre design. A demonstration of how, in both fields, craftsmanship, expertise and rarity cannot be divorced from ingenuity and love of detail.
