Vacheron Constantin: Ad Hoc Matching
for the new Overseas

New at the Watches & Wonders Shanghai 2020 show, which runs from today until 13 September, the 41 mm Overseas self-winding watch combines for the first time an elegant rose gold case with the sportier blue Overseas dial. In the centre of the latter, the satin-finished sunray finish gives way to a circular satin-finish on the flange; in addition, the translucent blue lacquer with which it is coated sets off the gilded hour-markers and hands, accentuated by the white luminescent material, and the date window at 3 o'clock. The aesthetics are completed by a pink gold link bracelet inspired by the Maltese cross. A second blue Mississippiensis alligator leather strap with nubuck lining and a third rubber strap, also in blue, all perfectly interchangeable, are included. At the heart of this model is a self-winding mechanical movement, naturally manufactured: the 5100 calibre, with a 60-hour power reserve, embellished with refined decorations visible through the sapphire crystal case back; on the plate, decorated with côtes de Genève, rotates the 22-carat gold oscillating weight, adorned with the compass rose.
