An entirely mechanical watch equipped with electronic functions, the Urwerk EMC Time Hunter now sports a new military look thanks both to the sand colour of its satin-finished and microblasted case, which combines steel treated with a ceramic-type lacquer with grade 5 titanium, and to its camouflage canvas strap, which earns it the name Desert Sage. Its peculiarity, unique in the world, is that it allows the wearer to control its precision, given by the amplitude of the oscillation of the balance: by pressing a button, it informs the wearer of any seconds lost or gained during the course of a week (or a month). Its functions are regulated by the UR-EMC2 manual calibre, produced entirely in-house, which ensures up to 80 hours of autonomy. In a limited edition of 5, the EMC Time Hunter Desert Sage is on sale for CHF 115,000 (excluding tax).
