A Japanese tourbillon

Un tourbillon giapponese

La Voltex Watch is a company in Kyoto (Japan) specialising in made-to-order watches, customisable in everything from the dial to the case.

The latest curious proposal from the Japanese manufacturer is a watch with a tourbillon movement, Swiss made, with traditionally classic features, such as the white enamel dial.

The mechanical hand-wound calibre is manufactured by the Technotime, a La Chaux-de-Fonds-based company specialising in contract manufacturing and equipped with a tourbillon device (visible through an aperture in the dial at nine o'clock) and a 120-hour power reserve. The 925 silver case and the enamelled dial are made in an atelier in Le Locle (Switzerland). The price of the Tourbillon Vertica is 4,500,000 yen, about 27,000 euros.

Made to order, it requires a six-month wait.
