Already with the H1928 calibre, Hermès had adopted a Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier movement (in which the Hermès group holds 25% of the shares). Today, the House boasts a new automatic movement, once again produced by the Vaucher Manufacture, but exclusively for the French brand. The H1 calibre operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a double barrel enabling a 50-hour power reserve (similar to the 1928 calibre so far), and an extremely flat (1.55 mm thick) large date module. The company has mounted it on the new Clipper H1 Gran Date Sport. The generously sized steel case has a unidirectional rotating knurled bezel. The dial is available in anthracite or silver.
