Partner of the Formula 1 Racing Bulls team - Visa Cash App RB, Tudor presents a watch dedicated to this important collaboration: the Black Bay Ceramic 'Blue'.

Earlier this year Tudor announced its return to the world of motorsport through a partnership with the Racing Bulls team - Visa Cash App RB Formula One. For the occasion, the house has created a new version of the Black Bay Ceramic, named 'Blue', certified Master Chronometer and with a blue dial matched to the livery of the aforementioned Formula 1 team, whose cars are driven by Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda.

Tudor has a long and important tradition in motor racing. In fact, the brand has supported winning teams during the golden age of motorsport, starting with the Tudor Watch Racing Team in the late 1960s, to the recent IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship. This year, then, the company returns to the grid once again and does so alongside the Racing Bulls - Visa Cash App RB team, the new Formula 1 team under the Red Bull Group.

Tudor Black Bay Ceramic 'Blue': racing details

In homage to the Formula 1 Racing Bulls team - Visa Cash App RB, the watch has several details in blue.

The new Tudor Black Bay Ceramic 'Blue' uses a 41 mm case in matt ceramic, combined with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a satin-finished soleil finish made of the same material. The domed dial is in blue and echoes, as mentioned, the livery of the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team. Also of note are the blue details on the hybrid leather and rubber strap, and on the additional black textile strap.

Speaking of the dial, note also the presence of the historical Snowflake' hands, treated with SuperLuminova as well as the geometric markers. The whole is protected by a domed sapphire crystal. Turning the watch over, the manufacture calibre MT5602-1U, mechanical with automatic winding.

The Black Bay Ceramic 'Blue' adopts an in-house Cosc and METAS-certified calibre.

This calibre, designed and assembled by Tudor, is visible through the sapphire glass porthole on the case back, re made of steel with black PVD treatment. The Tudor calibre MT5602-1Uwith a power reserve of 70 and silicon balance spring, is chronometer-certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (Cosc). However, its performance exceeds the standards set by this independent body. In fact, the Cosc admits an average variation of between -4 and +6 seconds per day in the daily march of an uncased movement, and Tudor applies a variation standard of 6 seconds (-2/+4) in the fully assembled timepiece.

In addition, the Tudor calibre MT5602-1U also has Master Chronometer certification, as shown at 6 o'clock on the dial. A watch certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS must function within a tolerance interval of 5 seconds (0/+5). Finally, In addition to being certified for its high standards in terms of precision, the Tudor manufacture calibre MT5602-1U also guarantees high resistance to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. Covered by a five-year warranty, transferable, without registration or mandatory revisions, Tudor's new Black Bay Ceramic 'Blue' is guaranteed waterproof up to a pressure of 20 atmospheres.
