As the name suggests, Hamilton's Jazzmaster Face 2 Face has two sides: a rotating case reveals two dials with different functions. Launched for the first time in 2013 (in that case with a double movement), followed by a second edition in 2016, it is now in its third generation, differing from its predecessors primarily by the shape of the case (still rotating, of course), no longer oval but round and more compact (44 mm in diameter).
The main dial displays the hours, minutes, day, date and chronograph. Partially exposed to the movement, it has Dauphine hands and facetted indexes with SuperLuminova.
The rear one shows the scales for measuring the average speed over a distance of one kilometre (silver) and the pulse (blue) indicated by a blue hand. A curiosity: the latter is linked to the chrono seconds hand and therefore rotates anti-clockwise; consequently, the scales are also indicated in reverse.
The movement used is the Hamilton calibre H-41 (based on Valjoux 7750, 25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour), mechanical automatic and with a power reserve of 60 hours. Water-resistant to 5 atmospheres, the Hamilton Jazzmaster Face 2 Face III is paired with a brown leather strap with blue stitching and a steel folding clasp.
It is produced in a limited edition of 999 pieces, whose progressive numbering is engraved along the side of the rotating case middle, and therefore not visible.
