New version of TCM's Orienteering, a model worn by Brad Pitt in the colossal 'World War Z'. It is a true professional instrument for guidance and orientation on both land and sea, equipped with a solar compass that allows one to determine one's position without the aid of magnetic compasses or electronic instruments, easily influenced by magnetic fields, but relying on the position of the sun or that of the stars, both in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. This is all thanks to the dial with its rotating bezel, which orients itself according to the time and indicates North, but also to the new star map on the back, which locates the North Star or the Southern Cross. The crown at 2 activates the rotating bezel while the one at 9 is for setting the time. In the event of any dipping, a red anodised aluminium ring indicates whether the crown has been inadvertently left open.
