To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Diabolik's birth, Franck Muller and Ronchi Gioielli collaborated on a special edition produced in only 25 pieces.
Created in 1962 by sisters Angela and Luciana Giussani, Diabolik certainly needs no introduction, being one of the world's best-selling comic books, with no less than 150 million copies. The dedicated watch uses the famous Cintrée Curvex case in black PVD-treated steel, water-resistant to 3 atmospheres.
The black lacquered dial (protected by a curved sapphire crystal) sports the image of Diabolik, as well as "bright red" Poires hands and a circular date window with the Ronchi logo at 6 o'clock. The movement used is the MVT FM 800-DT calibre (165 components, 21 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve), mechanical with automatic winding and finely decorated.
The black rubber strap is combined with a folding clasp in black PVD-treated steel. This celebratory watch is also intended as a tribute to Enzo Faccioli, the illustrator of Diabolik, who passed away last year.
