Seiko returned for the second consecutive year to Como Lake Cocktail Week as Official Timekeeper.
Como Lake Cocktail Week ended on 9 July, and took place in a series of enchanting locations in the beautiful setting of Lake Como. The presence of Seiko at the event provided an opportunity to experience Japanese elegance and savoir-faire in a refined and evocative atmosphere.
The theme of this edition of Como Lake Cocktail Week was 'Fantastic Classic', a tribute to mixing classics inspired by the Golden Age of cocktails, which began in 1961 at the Gausdal Mountain Hotel in Oslo. It was there that the first official list of the International Bartenders Association was born, consisting of 50 cocktails that would lay the foundations of modern mixology. In line with this spirit of highlighting their roots, Seiko timepieces from the Presage Classic collection also featured at the event.
"Seiko's participation in Como Lake Cocktail Week underlines our commitment to celebrating Japanese sophistication and craftsmanship in a context of excellence. This event allows us to connect with an audience that shares our values of precision, elegance and creativity. We are delighted to be part of an event that exalts the art of blending and the beauty of its unique setting," commented Ilenia Maffioli, Marketing Manager Seiko Italy.
