The sporty vocation of the new Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces is accentuated by the grey IP treatment with matt finish of the hook-shaped case, a distinctive feature of the brand. The special shine is given by the midnight blue colouring of the unidirectional rotating aluminium bezel, useful for calculating dive times, and the double-layered dial on which stand out the large geometric indexes (with Arabic numeral at 12 o'clock), luminescent as are the hour, minute and seconds hands. Blue is also the nylon strap, with a pin buckle. The mechanism is entrusted to a quartz movement, Ronda 715 calibre; the water-resistance rating is 20 atmospheres. In addition to midnight blue, the Ferragamo 1898 Sport is available in rust, green and black.
