The Richemont Group has announced some changes in its management. Lutz Bethge, currently CEO of Montblanc International, will become Honorary President of Montblanc International and will represent the brand worldwide in addition to advising on strategic issues. The change of office will become effective on 30 June. On behalf of the Group, the Board of Directors would like to thank Mr Bethge for his immense contribution to the development of Montblanc, which has grown from a manufacturer of traditional writing instruments to a major Maison in the world of luxury. During his 23 years in office, during which he has held various positions, the Maison has also become very important in the world of watchmaking, a world in which it is still growing steadily. The Board of Directors wishes Mr Bethge every success in his new role. The Board of Directors of the Richemont Group is also pleased to announce the appointment of Jérôme Lambert, currently CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, as the new CEO of Montblanc. Mr Lambert will, however, remain a member of the Group's Management Committee. Montblanc's new management will become operational on 1 July. Daniel Riedo, on the other hand, who currently holds the position of Industrial Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre, will take over from Mr. Lambert as CEO of the same Maison.
