For the second year in a row, Perrelet participated as an official partner in the 'Globe Soccer Awards', whose awards ceremony was held in Dubai on 17 November.
The Globe Soccer Awards, now in their 13th year, not only reward the best players and coaches, but also the people who work behind the scenes in the world of football.
This coveted award was organised in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The award ceremony took place in the splendid setting of the Madinat Jumeirah Resort.
Among the winners of the Dubai Globe Soccer Award 2022 are important names, such as Karim Benzema, awarded as best male player, Carlo Ancelotti as best coach, Sérgio Ramos as best defender of all time, Real Madrid as best men's team, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara as best sports directors, and Alexia Putellas as best female player, to name but a few. As well as stars such as Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who received the lifetime achievement award.
The full list of winners is available at www.globesoccer.com. Perrelet had the honour of awarding the winners with its mechanical watches from the Turbine Carbon Black Edition collection. The most distinctive feature of Perrelet's Turbine is the 12-blade propeller visible on the dial side. This component reveals a sub-dial as it rotates, and gives the watch a very original style. The watch is driven by the automatic calibre P-331-MH, manufactured in-house, and chronometer-certified by the Cosc (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres).
