An evolution of the diver's Plongeur, launched by Paul Picot in 1987 and already declined since 2006 in the more elegant Yachtman, the Yachtman Club well interprets the modern and contemporary mood of the case integrated into the bracelet. The all-steel version is now joined by a variant with black Dlc treatment and a rubber strap. The former is more "classic", with a blue and black unidirectional rotating bezel; the latter is bolder in colour, offering a double option: black rubber strap to match the white/black bezel; yellow rubber to match the yellow/black bezel.
The bezel is characterised by a toothed profile that makes it easier to grip. In addition to returning to pure lines and sharp edges derived directly from the design of the Plongeur, the Yacthman Club is distinguished by the use of sapphire crystal, with the first 15 minutes marked by the coloured profile ending at 12 o'clock with an arrow indicating the direction of rotation of the bezel.
Both models have a 43 mm case, boast water resistance to 20 atmospheres and the movement is the PP1700 calibre, based on the reliable ETA 2824, with a 38-hour power reserve.
The variant with a steel bracelet makes it possible to opt for colours other than blue for the bezel: white, green or yellow, as well as a further option that combines blue (instead of black) with yellow. The bracelet, which is very robust, is integrated into the case and is equipped with a personalised booklet clasp with a double safety button.
The company has also announced the forthcoming launch of new variants in a precious guise, with a two-tone case in steel and rose gold.
