Anywave, under the leadership of helmsman Alberto Leghissa, took an excellent 6th place overall at the 55th edition of the Barcolana, triumphing in its category, the Super Maxi. This fine result comes just a few days after the convincing success at the Barcolana Maxi - Trofeo Tivoli Portopiccolo, consolidating the team as one of the leading sailing teams at national and international level.
The 55th edition of the Barcolana, which took place in Trieste at the beginning of the month, offered the public and participating crews unusual challenges. The weather conditions in fact forced the organisers to shorten the course at the first buoy, due to the extremely light wind. Nevertheless, the Arca boat, with Benussi at the helm, managed to win, followed by Kosmina and the Prosecco Doc team.
However, the Anyway team, whose Paul Picot is partner, it does not only look at competitions. In fact, this year, on the occasion of the Barcolana, the team presented its new green project, realised in collaboration with the Lions Club - Trieste Miramar. It is an ecological and sustainable initiative that connects land and sea, spurring reflection on environmental protection and encouraging each of us to offer a little help in favour of the environment.
