Patek Philippe introduces in its current collection the Universal Time Ref. 5330, a model presented in a limited edition last year during the Great Watch Art Exhibition in Tokyo.
Join the current collection of Patek Philippe Universal Time Ref. 5330, watch presented in a limited series during last year's Great Watch Art Exhibition in Tokyo. Its main feature is the display of the date corresponding to local time, i.e. that of the time zone selected at 12 o'clock on the city disc and indicated by the central hands.
It is managed by a patented differential system, which allows the date to be read on the edge of the dial by means of a central hand in transparent glass, with a red lacquered pointer pointing on a scale of 1 to 31 (so that the pointer does not interfere with the legibility of the other information).
The Patek Philippe calibre 240 HU C
Based on the ultra-thin 240 HU calibre, this movement is awarded the Patek Philippe Seal.
The movement is the new 240 HU C calibre, built on the basis of the ultra-flat 240 HU self-winding (21,600 vibrations per hour, 38 to 48-hour power reserve, Gyromax balance wheel, Spiromax balance spring in Silinvar), included since 2000 in Patek Philippe Universal Time watches without additional functions. Equipped with a 22-carat gold micro-rotor, the Patek Philippe manufacture calibre 240 HU is visible through the porthole on the case back.
The blue-grey dial with guilloché-engraved carbon motif It houses Dauphine hands and facetted, luminescent bar hour markers, as well as the central date hand (with hour markers on the flange) and the two discs with the 24-hour and city names of the 24 world time zones.
The 40 mm case is made of 18-carat white gold and is fully polished, is combined with a blue-grey calfskin strap, decorated with a denim pattern and fitted with an 18-carat white gold folding clasp.
