Founded in 1978, the TLP is responsible for training NATO allied forces for tactical air operations around the world. To celebrate this new partnership, Oris presents the TLP Limited Edition, a 44 mm gunmetal grey PVD steel case watch produced in only 750 pieces based on the ProPilot, a pilot's watch that is always ready for take-off. The green dial (on which the instantaneous date and day display is located at 3 o'clock) is inspired by the flight suits of the TLP pilots and the beige details recall the eagle of the TLP logo The strap is made of green Ventile. Ventile is a high-performance fabric invented during World War II for pilots of the British Royal Air Force and which saved the lives of countless pilots forced to bail out during flight operations. In addition to the model designed for civilians, Oris is also offering pilots graduating from the TLP the opportunity to own a bespoke model which will bear their name, the year of the course and the limited edition number on the case back. Two versions will be produced: one, produced in only 100 pieces, will only be available to TLP graduates; the other, in a limited edition of 750 pieces, will be available to everyone. The movement used is the Oris 752 calibre (26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 38-hour power reserve), mechanical with automatic winding. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 10 atmospheres. Price: €2,050.
