Oris presents the Pointer Day watch, the latest heir to a series of Pointer Calendar models dating back to 1930. In the current version of this complication, the central hand highlights the day of the week in red, thus providing a useful reminder to its wearer. In addition to the retrograde jumping day display function, this timepiece has an auxiliary subdial at 9 o'clock for small seconds and a date window at 6 o'clock. The watch case, made of steel and completely redesigned, features slightly curved lugs that ensure a perfect fit on the wrist and a smooth surface that makes for an elegant combination with the bracelet (a version with a crocodile strap with a folding clasp is also available). At the heart of the timepiece is a mechanical self-winding Oris calibre 745 movement, based on the Sellita SW 220. Price: 1,750 euros (with bracelet); 1,600 euros (with leather strap).
