Oris in defence of the oceans

Oris presents the Carysfort Reef Limited Edition, a diver's watch that confirms the brand's commitment to safeguarding coral reefs, ecosystems that ensure the survival of approximately 25% of marine fish species. In particular, the House is collaborating with the Coral Restoration Foundation, an organisation working to restore and rehabilitate the Carysfort Reef, Florida's coral reef. The new timepiece, crafted in steel and measuring 43.5 millimetres in diameter, is able to show the time in three time zones simultaneously using the 24-hour scale laser-engraved on the ceramic bezel that frames a shaded blue dial, enlivened by SuperLuminova on the hour markers and hands. Available with a steel bracelet or an orange rubber strap, both closed by a safety clasp with extension, it is guaranteed water-resistant to 30 atmospheres and is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement, Oris 798 calibre (Sellita SW330-1 base) with 42 hours of autonomy. It is a limited edition of only 2,000 pieces, each presented with a special box made from environmentally friendly seaweed. The Carysfort Reef Limited Edition is on sale at authorised retailers at €2,500 for the version with an orange rubber strap and €2,700 for the version with a bracelet.
