Omega Seamaster 300 edition 2021

Presented is the new Seamaster 300 collection consisting of models that are not only slimmer than previous editions, thanks to the new domed sapphire crystal, but also with many vintage details and a brand new Master Chronometer upgrade. Among these, the starring role is certainly given to the first watch made in Bronze Gold, Omega's brand new patent-pending alloy: used for the entire case and clasp, it is enriched with noble elements such as 37.5% gold, hallmarked 9K, as well as palladium and silver, to create a unique colour that lies squarely between the shades of 18K Moonshine gold and 18K Sedna gold. In addition to presenting a soft pink hue, it offers optimal corrosion resistance during wear, without the oxidation of verdigris, which will allow it to retain its natural patina for a longer period of time. In contrast to the Bronze Gold of the case, the bezel ring has been created in brown ceramic with a vintage SuperLuminova diving scale for a decidedly eye-catching result. The model comes with a full 5-year warranty and is powered by the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912, visible through the sapphire crystal on the caseback.
All of the new Seamaster 300s, with the exception of the Bronze Gold, are made of classic stainless steel and have thinner bezels made of anodised aluminium for added hardness. The bracelets are also made of stainless steel and now have an improved fit and finish. Their shape has been ergonomically adjusted with streamlined fittings and a thinner brushed and polished buckle. A new buckle has also been included on the leather straps. But the most noticeable changes concern the dial for which Omega has used a "sandwich" concept, which includes a base layer with SuperLuminova and a second top plate with cut-outs for the hour markers and recessed numerals. The popular "lollipop" central seconds hand has also been reintroduced for the stainless steel models, with the tip now filled with SuperLuminova, and only the Omega logo and Seamaster 300 name make an appearance, with no more references to the movement having been moved to the caseback. The latter features a design with wavy edges and a sapphire crystal offering a view of the aforementioned calibre.
