Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch
The Omega x Swatch collection first hit the headlines in March two years ago.
The launch of the Omega x Swatch collection was received with great enthusiasm two years ago, triggering strong demand from the enthusiast public. Made of bioceramics, the 11 models feature shades inspired by the colours of space and planets, and are a tribute to the design of the Omega Speedmaster.
During 2023, the models in the collection are revisited in the 'Mission to Moonshine Gold' versions. The 11 watches have a chrono seconds hand coated with 18-carat Moonshine gold, an alloy patented by Omega that gives yellow gold a softer tone and high resistance to discolouration.
Each MoonSwatch has a particular hand
The Moonshine gold chrono seconds hand of each watch boasts a distinctive detail.
The chrono seconds hand of each MoonSwatch contained in the cases features a special motif, such as the strawberries on the Strawberry Moon. Also very special are the cases themselves, which also contain a gold monocle with the Omega x Swatch logo and a coin engraved with the 3-letter aviation code for the city shown (e.g. 'HKG' for Hong Kong). This same code is also engraved on the side of all the watches in the cases, each associated with a specific city.
