Omega's Worldtimer in its boldest version, for the first time in the Seamaster Planet Ocean.
In 2005 Omega launched the Planet Ocean: inspired by the design of the Seamaster 300, with a helium escape valve and a rotating bezel (orange at its debut), it was the first Seamaster to be equipped with a Co-Axial movement (the 2500 calibre). This is the most high-performance line in the Seamaster collection, which includes models with water resistance from 600 metres up to the Ultra Deep diving champion, capable of descending to 6,000 metres.
Twenty years after its launch, Omega introduces for the first time in the Planet Ocean line the Worldtimer complication already tested in the Aqua Terrathe most understated of the company's sporty models. The brand now reinterprets the style in a bolder form, taking its cue from the aesthetics of the Planet Ocean Deep Black.
Thus In the Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer, we find a 45.5 mm black ceramic case and a bezel, also made of ceramic, with a laser-bevelled and positively polished diving scale.
A diver up to 600 metres with Worldtimer complication
Two dial versions for the Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer.
Water resistance is maintained at 600 metres, but it is the dial that becomes more complex. At its centre is a depiction of the Earth as seen from the North Pole, made using a grade 5 titanium plate machined by laser ablation and varnishing.. Also in this model, in the outer ring of the world cities is Omega's birthplace, Bienne, and not Paris as is tradition, the GMT+1 reference. The central 24-hour ring is in hesalite with a day/night colour zone.
The dial of the Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer is available in two versions: turquoise patent leather, with white SuperLuminova hands and indices; in grey patent leather, with Omega's new grey SuperLuminova.
An Omega Master Chronometer calibre
Omega's silicon balance spring and Co-Axial escapement.

Certified Master Chronometer by Metas, therefore resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 Gauss, it boasts a 60-hour power reserve and is equipped with a silicon balance spring and Co-Axial escapement. The strap is made of structured rubber with a ceramic folding clasp.
