Ochs und Junior - Moon Phase Blue Patina

A new version of the Moon Phase by Ochs und Junior, a watch that calculates the phases of the moon with a deviation of just one day every 3,478.27 years. It now comes with a dial with a blue patina obtained, like the previous models dark blue tending to black and grey, through a chemical oxidation process. A technique developed ten years ago; each dial is oxidised and assembled by hand at the company's workshop in Lucerne. The case, measuring 39 millimetres in diameter, is made of 925 silver, the same material used for the dark part of the moon on the dial; the sun at 12 o'clock and the circular date window, together with the hour and minute hands, are in 950 platinum. The Moon Phase Blue Patina is on sale for CHF 11,200 (excluding tax).
