New steel SeaQ for Glashütte Original

Dedicated to diving and water sports enthusiasts, the watch features a galvanic blue dial with a delicate soleil finish that brings out the SuperLuminova of the hour markers and hands; the same blue is echoed on the ceramic insert of the rotating bezel. The clearly perceptible minute click and a touch of SuperLuminova on the triangular indicator, which marks the start of the dive, are two other interesting features of this model. The new SeaQ, engraved on the caseback with the marine symbol of the trident, the double G of Glashütte Original and the 20 waves representing water resistance to 20 bar, is powered by the Calibre 39-11, an in-house mechanical self-winding movement with a 40-hour power reserve. It is housed in a 39.5 mm-diameter steel case to which three different bracelet/strap versions are matched: a black rubber strap with an embossed pattern, a water-resistant blue nylon mesh strap and a steel bracelet with an 8-step fine adjustment mechanism. DIN and ISO tested, this SeaQ model meets the most stringent German and international standards for diver's watches in terms of water resistance, readability, shock resistance, saltwater resistance and many other criteria.
