Jaeger-LeCoultre presents an exclusive edition of its Geophysic True Second Limited Edition. There are 100 pieces available for this model, on sale from tomorrow only in the Maison's online boutique (www.jaeger-lecoultre.com) and featuring an ocean blue dial. In the centre of the dial is a white cross, recalling the 1958 Geophysic, created to honour Commander William Anderson, the first man in history to reach the North Pole by submarine, sailing under the polar cap. The blue colour is enlivened by the luminescence of the hour markers and hands, which allows optimal visibility even in the dark or in poor lighting conditions. At the heart of this model is a self-winding mechanical movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 770, with a 40-hour power reserve and 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight. It is housed inside a 39.6 millimetre diameter steel case, engraved with the limited edition. It is completed by a brown calfskin strap with a patinated effect.
