The number of watch shops run by the Cassetti family in the prestigious setting of Florence's Ponte Vecchio has risen to four. In fact, alongside the Cassetti Boutique (where it is possible to buy Bulgari, Chopard, Longines and Tudor models) and the boutique dedicated to Vacheron Constantin, as well as the one reserved for IWC and Cartier, this time it is the turn of the single-brand Rolex shop, also located on the Ponte Vecchio, at number 29R, right in front of the monument dedicated to Benvenuto Cellini. It is a boutique of 82 square metres, spread over three floors, with a private area and workshop with expert watchmakers trained directly by the crowned House. Also working with the Cassetti siblings, Andrea and Maria Grazia, are their children, Filippo Cassetti Burchi, who looks after the commercial development of the company and is Maria Grazia's son (his brother Alessandro looks after the magnificent Le Filigare estate in San Donato in Poggio with his father Carlo Burchi) and Lorenzo Cassetti, Andrea's son, who looks after the watches. Also with them is Director Silvio Kirreh, who knows Rolex modelling to perfection. "For us, this is a very important milestone and we are happy about it," say the Cassetti brothers, who after the cocktail reception will welcome guests and Rolex top management to an exclusive dinner at the Canottieri. "Foreigners love to buy their dream watch on the Ponte Vecchio," says Filippo Cassetti Burchi, and in fact the Florentine boutique is the number two for sales in Italy after Pisa in Via Montenapoleone in Milan. The new Rolex flagship shop is a prestigious salon, with light wood and green glass walls, an ancient arch inspired by the history of the shops on the Ponte Vecchio and a view that reaches as far as the bust of Cellini, embracing the most beautiful Florentine sunsets.
