The January 2023 edition of Vicenzaoro The Jewellery Boutique Show exceeded eve's expectations and recorded record numbers for the post-pandemic fair.

The January 2023 edition of Vicenzaoro The Jewellery Boutique Show went beyond the best expectations. The data communicated by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group archives the difficult years of the pandemic and makes us look to the future of the gold and jewellery sector with optimism. Historical record attendance with +11.5% compared to the January 2020 edition, despite Vicenzaoro 2023 being one day shorter. Foreign buyers also doubled compared to the winter 2022 edition (+105%).

The numbers make market players breathe optimism, with 1,300 exhibiting brands and 400 foreign buyers hosted, and confirm the liveliness of Italian exports, +27.2% between January and September 2022. Foreign visitation is close to 60% of the total, from 136 countries around the world, with Europe worth 54.5%, the Middle East 9.5%, Asia 9%, Turkey 9%, North America 7.2%, Africa 5.4% and Latin America 4.7%. Among the best represented individual countries were the United States and Turkey, from Europe Greece, Germany, Spain, the UK and France, from the Middle East the Arab Emirates, Israel and Saudi Arabia, from Asia India, Japan and Thailand. The Italian presence from all regions was also very positive, with Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Latium and Sicily growing more than 20% compared to pre-pandemic.

T.Gold, the leading international showcase of innovation, organised in partnership with A.F.E.M.O., saw an increase in exhibition space at this edition of 10%. While in the timepiece segment, VO Vintage, aimed at all collectors, enthusiasts and the curious of fine vintage watches and jewellery, consolidated its success.

IEG has also made official the start of work that will give the Vicenza exhibition centre a new look. The appointment with the next edition is scheduled from 8 to 12 September.
