NOMOS Glashütte
for the Big Jewellery

The Saxon House has created a special, limited edition of the Zürich Ore del Mondo dedicated to the city of Rome, in collaboration with Gioielleria Grande.

The special edition of the Zürich World Hours of NOMOS Glashüttededicated to the Gioielleria Grande and the Eternal City. Several elements make this timepiece unique and recall the capital of Italy.

Starting with the name Rome to indicate the time zone GMT + 1 on the city disc (instead of Berlin), and highlighted in red. Continuing with the image of the Colosseum at 3 o'clock to indicate 24-hour home time.

On the case back, which features a sapphire crystal porthole that opens the mechanism to view, is engraved the words "Zürich World Time Limited Edition Gioielleria Grande", as well as the progressive number relating to the limited edition. The crown is personalised with the engraving of the name of Gioielleria Grande.

The movement adopted is the IWC-manufactured DUW 5201 calibre (13 ¾ lignes, 5.4 mm thick, 26 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour), mechanical automatic, which guarantees a power reserve of 42 and features high-quality finishing, including the skeletonised rotor.

The 39.9 mm-diameter by 10.9 mm-thick case is made of steel, and features a pusher at 2 o'clock to select the reference city visible at 12 o'clock (each time it is pressed, the disc jumps counter-clockwise by one city), and simultaneously jumps the hour hand forward one click at a time. The dark brown dial (a special and unprecedented colour for this collection) also offers a small seconds display at 6 o'clock and is protected by a cambered sapphire crystal that has undergone an interior and exterior anti-reflective treatment.

The watch is paired with a brown Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap, fitted with an exclusive folding clasp personalised with the name of the company, and never before used for the Zürich Hours of the World.
