NOMOS Glashütte is celebrating its first 175 years of watchmaking history with three limited-edition versions of a great Glashütte classic. In all three models, the white enamel dial features Roman numeral and bar hour markers, as well as blued leaf hands - a Glashütte tradition - and a minute track scale. The sapphire-glass back bears the engraving "Limited Edition Ludwig - 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte". In addition to the version powered by an in-house hand-wound Alpha calibre (used in the Ludwig - 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte with a 35 mm case), two models are available with highly innovative NOMOS automatic movements: the neomatik calibres DUW 3001 (in the Ludwig neomatik 39) and DUW 6101 (for the Ludwig neomatik 41 date display) set a new technical standard and at the same time embody the best of haute horlogerie. The aforementioned sapphire-glass back allows one to observe some of Glashütte's signature features, such as the three-quarter plate, the tempered blue screws, the classic Glashütte finish, and the NOMOS Swing-System escapement, the watch's true heart. The Ludwig neomatik 41 date window, for the first time, houses Roman numerals. And the fact that all three models are set to chronometric certification standards is an exclusive tribute to this important anniversary. The three models in this special edition, produced in a limited series of 175 pieces each, are available from all authorised dealers. Prices: Ludwig - 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte, 1,800 euros; Ludwig neomatik 39 - 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte, 2,900 euros; Ludwig neomatik 41 date - 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte, 3,300 euros.
