Just last year, NOMOS celebrated the 175th anniversary of the birth of watchmaking in Glashütte with the launch of two special limited edition models. Now the German watchmaker is presenting a third, the Club automatic, in three versions, each produced in only 175 pieces. The three models differ in the colour of the dial, which is available in onyx black, navy blue or olive green. The latter two are combined with a textile strap, while the automatic Club with an onyx dial uses a steel bracelet. Both the hands and hour markers (geometric and Arabic numerals) are treated with luminescent substance. All three adopt a domed sapphire crystal to protect the dial and are guaranteed water-resistant to an astonishing 20 atmospheres (equivalent to a depth of about 200 metres). The steel case has a diameter of 40 mm and houses the IWC-manufactured DUW 5001 calibre (first automatic calibre produced by the manufacture, diameter 31 mm, thickness 4.3 mm, 26 jewels, 43-hour power reserve), mechanical with automatic winding and visible through the sapphire crystal porthole positioned on the case back. On the same caseback, the limited edition number (XXX/175) is also engraved. Prices: 1,960 euros (with textile strap); 2,240 euros (with steel bracelet).
