A watch that is just as suitable for a bike ride or a dip in the pool as it is for a business meeting or a formal evening. It is with this in mind that NOMOS Glashütte has created the Ahoi Atlantico collection, a sporty line, though not in the strictest sense of the word so as not to sacrifice the brand's typical wearability and style, robust and water-resistant to 200 metres, but also versatile thanks to a touch of classicism and elegance. Which NOMOS has now revamped in terms of colours and with a number of new versions, including two 40.3 mm versions that differ in the presence or absence of a date display.
The stainless steel case, with screw-down crown and back, frames a blue dial made easily readable by the hour markers encrusted with yellow SuperLuminova edged in green, as well as the rhodium-plated hands with white SuperLuminova inserts.
Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal with blue anti-reflective coating on both sides. Completing the look is a quick-drying blue-black textile strap, made in France specifically for Nomos Glashütte.
The movements used are the IWC-manufactured DUW 5001 and DUW 5101 calibres (the latter for the date model), with 13 ¾ lignes and a thickness of 4.3 mm, and with ¾ plate and a power reserve of 43 and 42 hours respectively.
Also worth mentioning is the possibility of opting for the Sport bracelet (price increase of 280 euros) or the metal bracelet (price increase of 40 euros) instead of the fabric strap.
