Nicolas Bos new CEO of Richemont

The new appointment will become effective on 1 June.

The Board of Directors of Richemont appointed Nicolas Bos as new CEO (acronym for Chief Executive Officer), as part of an internal reorganisation that will also see the Chairman and controlling shareholder Johann Rupert give up some of its management delegations.

Nicolas Bos, currently head of Van Cleef & Arpels, will take up his new role as of 1 June and join the executive committee. The current CEO Jérôme Lambert will continue to be a member of Richemont's Board of Directors and hold the position of Chief Operating Officer (Coo). In addition, Bram Schot will serve as non-executive Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors from 11 September, succeeding Josua Malherbe, who decided to step down after eleven years. However, Malherbe will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

As part of his new role, Nicolas Bos, who joined the company in 1992, will directly and indirectly supervise all the houses, functions and regions.
