Frederique Constant's Hybrid Manufacture is a smartwatch with an in-house manufactured mechanical movement: the FC-750 automatic calibre, which is combined with an electronic module, also manufactured by the brand. The integration of these two technologies in a single calibre posed a major technological challenge: to eliminate the negative effects of magnetism between the mechanical and electronic parts. For this purpose, a patented transmission system with an antimagnetic shield was developed. The connection between the watch and the Hybrid App is made via the button on the left side of the watch case using Bluetooth technology. The smart functions are visible both on the watch, in the indicator at 12 o'clock, and in the App Hybrid. It also has a patented calibre analysis function: once a day, at 4.00 a.m., the watch performs an automatic analysis (no action is required on the part of the user) of the correct functioning of the mechanical movement. It is available in steel or with a pink gold finish.
