New colours for the Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum, the universal time watch presented by Montblanc in 2014. After the variants with a steel case and a blue or green dial or a rose gold case with a brown dial, comes the version combining the steel of the case (43 mm in diameter by 13.84 thick) with the grey and pink tones of the dial.
The latter consists, in particular, of an upper rotating sapphire crystal disc showing an outline of the continents as seen from the North Pole with a pink gold finish, surrounded by the names of the 24 cities with their respective time zones, and a lower disc also made of sapphire crystal showing the day/night indication in different shades of grey, as well as the 24 hours of the various time zones. The leaf-shaped hands and geometric hour markers are rose gold-plated and given a luminescent treatment using SuperLuminova. Also noteworthy is the onion-shaped crown with the famous Montblanc logo in enamel.
Dark grey is the alligator strap, combined with a steel triple folding clasp. The mechanics are entrusted to the automatic MB 29.20 calibre (26 jewels, 28,800 vib/h), on a Sellita base with an additional IWC-manufactured universal time module and a power reserve of around 42 hours.
