Mido presents a special edition of the Ocean Star GMT, a diver's watch water-resistant to 20 atmospheres with a second time zone display. For the first time, the bracelet in satin-finished steel with polished central links and equipped with an extension incorporates a quick-change bar, facilitating the changeover to the additional strap in blue, red and white fabric. Both the bracelet and the strap integrate perfectly with the robust 44-mm steel case, on the screw-down back of which is a time-zone engraving.
A unidirectional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert surrounds a velvety blue dial with diamond-cut hands and Super-Luminova-treated hour markers, while the flange features a 24-hour scale, with daytime hours in red and night-time hours in blue. The movement used is the Mido 80 calibre (based on ETA C07.661, 11 ½'', 25 jewels, 21,600 vib/h, oscillating weight decorated with côtes de Genêve and personalised), which offers an 80-hour power reserve.
The sapphire crystal protecting the dial has a luminescent treatment, and the crown, which is customised, knurled and with protective straps against accidental shocks, is screwed down.
