The Mido Ocean Star Tribute revives the spirit of 1960s dive watches. This is thanks to an ultra-resistant sapphire crystal in glassbox style and a khaki fabric strap finished with white stitching. Same colouring for the dial and the aluminium ring of the unidirectional rotating bezel. To ensure optimal legibility even in the depths of the ocean, both the markers on the bezel and those on the dial, including the hands, are coated with white SuperLuminova. The hour and minute hands are diamond-cut flat, while the seconds hand is lacquered in orange, the iconic Mido colour. The day and date are displayed in an aperture at 3 o'clock. A relief-engraved starfish, the historic symbol of the Ocean Star family and its 20-bar (200-metre) water-resistance, adorns the back of the watch. Equipping the latter is the Calibre 80 (base ETA C07.621), mechanical with automatic winding, with a power reserve of up to 80 hours, housed in a 316L steel case 40.5 mm in diameter. Price: 850 euros.
