MB&F - Legacy Machine Perpetual Palladium

Introduced in 2015, MB&F's Legacy Machine Perpetual was until now made in a 44 mm case in red gold, platinum, white gold, titanium or yellow gold. A new version has recently been added to the collection, produced in a limited edition of 25 pieces and made in palladium 950. The watch is also characterised by the adoption of an aquamarine-coloured skeleton sunray dial with blue, green and grey highlights. On the same dial, the indications are distributed as follows: day at 3 o'clock, month at 6 o'clock, date at 9 o'clock, off-centre hours and minutes at 12 o'clock, power reserve indicator at 5:30, retrograde leap year indicator at 7:30. Thanks to an innovative system developed especially for the Legacy Machine Perpetual, the subdials appear to 'float' above the movement, without being visibly connected to it. In the centre is the suspended balance, one of the hallmarks of the Legacy Machine Perpetual. The movement used, fully integrated (no module or base movement) and developed for MB&F by Stephen McDonnell, is mechanical with manual winding (581 components, 41 jewels, 18,000 vibrations per hour), and guarantees a 72-hour power reserve. Finally, we recall that the Legacy Machine Perpetual won the best calendar watch award at the GPHG (Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève) in 2016.
