Issue 314 of L'Orologio, April 2023, is available on newsstands: a fascicle largely dedicated to the novelties of Geneva Watch Week, the six-day Geneva event dominated by Watches and Wonders, the watch fair held at the Palexpo in Geneva.
On the cover, the Patek Philippe Calatrava Travel Time Ref. 5224R with an unprecedented 24-hour local and home time display: an exclusive and elegant watch, but not entirely classical.
Space is given to Rolex novelties, starting with the Daytona, which turns 60 and introduces some stylistic changes and a new movement. To continue with the new Perpetual 1908, which represents the most classic and elegant segment of the production, with the Yacht-Master 42 entirely in titanium, and so on.
A good 38 pages are dedicated to the new models of the brands that exhibited at the Palexpo in Geneva (which this year also saw the entry of 10 new brands) and another 16 to those present at the Fuori Salone, with the various collateral events that animated the Geneva week, starting with Time to Watches.
The spotlight is also on the latest generation of Breitling's Premier, the brand's most elegant chronographs, revamped with new combinations of materials and colours and a brand new 42 mm case size.
And again, the reportage dedicated to the visit of L'Orologio Club members to the Zenith manufacture, the original and complicated creations of the micro-brand Atelier Haute Horlogerie, Rado's ceramics and design, and the main auctions that took place between the end of February and the month of March.
