The February issue of L'Orologio is available at newsstands and on our app. Run and buy it!

Issue 312 of L'Orologio is on newsstands and online in an electronic version. On the cover this month is the Grand Seiko Evolution 9 SLGA021 "Lake Suwa" with Spring Drive movement, a new example of the brand's savoir-faire in offering dials with particular textures, inspired by Japanese nature. The issue hosts a special feature entirely devoted to other watchmaking, that of independent signatures.

We begin with the traditional Comparison, in which we analyse the style and philosophy behind the proposals of houses that are considered outsiders (Czapek & Cie, De Bethune, F.P.Journe, Greubel Forsey, Grönefeld, H.Moser & Cie., Laurent Ferrier, MB&F).

Followed by five articles on five manufacturers positioned outside the groups that dominate the sector, including historical, emerging and completely new to the Italian market (Cyrus Genève, Doxa, Wyler Vetta, Norqain and Christiaan van der Klaauw).
Space was given to the coverage of Lvmh Wacth Week, in fact the first watchmaking event of 2023, with the presentation of new products by the Group's watch brands: Bulgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith.

This month's Guide features partnerships between watchmaking and motoring brands (or at least models linked to the racing world). Plus, the 70th anniversary of Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms and the VO Vintage report.
