The new initiatives

club_ridThe activities of the first exclusive club for watch enthusiasts continue unabated.

Having postponed a visit to the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture until May (due to the ash cloud over Europe), the House of Le Sentier nevertheless made itself available to our members in April, inviting them to take part in an interesting watchmaking lesson. In the company's exhibition space during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, enthusiasts tried their hand at the disassembly and reassembly of a Jaeger-LeCoultre 875 calibre, with a large date and 8-day power reserve.

In the coming days, 12 lucky readers of L'Orologio subscribed to L’Orologio Club will visit the IWC and, finally, Jaeger-LeCoultre manufactures. Here, they will be able to discover the secrets of the manufacture, finishing and assembly of the mechanical watches of the two Houses, speak directly with the watchmakers and managers of the companies and, last but not least, view all the 2010 novelties of the brands.
