The Clock in Vicenza

The Watch is present at VO Vintage, which closes its doors today.

VO Vintage

Are you ready? Have you booked your train, washed your car and, above all, taken out your favourite watch? Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be the best days of the year to show it off: the circle of Italian watch enthusiasts gathers at the Vicenza fair for VO Vintage.

L'Orologio Magazine

I don't want to hear reactions such as: 'I'm only interested in new', 'I don't have to buy anything', 'But is it open to the public?' (this last question we keep getting even though we seem to have made it clear: it is an event designed just for the public!). VO Vintage is not just a market exhibition. It is much more.

VO Vintage

To begin with, it takes place within the framework of Italy's most important jewellery fair, Vicenzaoro, therefore in a professional and tested environment, in maximum security. Then, it offers a unique set of contents: meetings with experts, meetings between enthusiasts and learning opportunities, starting with courses held by the Foundation of Haute Horlogerie, a Swiss body to which the world's major watchmakers belong. The list of available courses can be found here link.

Rolex Mickey Mouse

Not to mention the talks: short lectures designed as 'lounges', where the audience is close to the speakers and can easily participate in the discussion, giving rise to real debates. Here the full programme.

Vo Vintage

I will have the pleasure of moderating three of these meetings, between Friday and Saturday, and hope to see many of you in the VO Vintage Lounge, in Hall 7.1 of the fair.

It will be nice to greet L'Orologio readers in person.
